Keychron made waves at CES not just for their new long-lasting mechanical keyboards, but for their unexpected entrance into the trackball market. The Keychron Nape Pro marks the brand’s first attempt at a trackball, and it is designed with a unique philosophy focused on geometry and workflow efficiency.
Unlike bulky ergonomic mice, the Nape Pro features a slender frame that offers incredible versatility. Users can position it traditionally to the side of their keyboard or, more innovatively, tuck it directly in front of the keys. This front-mounted approach allows you to control the cursor without lifting your hands from the home row, mimicking the utility of a Lenovo ThinkPad’s TrackPoint but in a dedicated form factor.
Beyond the ball, the device is equipped with a rotary dial and six fully programmable buttons, aiming to streamline productivity for power users seeking to reduce arm strain.
