Withings has returned to CES 2026 to redefine the smart scale market with the premium Body Scan 2. Dubbed a ‘longevity station,’ this $599.95 device represents a significant leap in at-home health monitoring, placing a heavy emphasis on cardiovascular and metabolic health tracking.
The device features a sophisticated design with eight foot electrodes and a retractable handle equipped with four additional electrodes. This configuration allows for whole-body composition analysis, offering superior accuracy compared to standard scales that rely solely on foot sensors. While the original Body Scan set a high bar, the second generation focuses intensely on deeper vascular metrics.
However, prospective buyers will need patience; the Body Scan 2 is scheduled for release in Q2 2026. The launch is currently contingent upon pending FDA clearance for several of its advanced medical-grade metrics, ensuring the data provided meets strict regulatory standards.
