Withings has returned to CES 2026 with the announcement of the Body Scan 2, a premium $599.95 smart scale reimagined as a dedicated “longevity station.” Slated for release in Q2 2026, this device places a heavier emphasis on cardiovascular and metabolic health monitoring compared to its predecessors.
Key technical upgrades include a multi-electrode system featuring eight foot sensors and four electrodes integrated into a retractable handle. This configuration allows for a complete upper-body analysis, offering significantly higher accuracy than standard smart scales that rely solely on foot-based data. While the device promises to be a powerhouse for health metrics, Withings notes that the launch is pending necessary FDA clearances for specific advanced medical readings.
